Galena:
Galena is known as the stone of harmony, allowing one to remove self-limiting ideas. It is a grounding stone that promotes alchemical self transformation. Working with Galena connects one to the depths of the earth and the depths oneself. Through this process, one can uncover hidden truths. It prompts one to seek and commit to reach the highest potential. It is a protection stone and reminds one to see the light in the darkness. Use Galena if you are on a journey of transformation.
Quartz:
Clear Quartz is known as the stone of power. It is both an amplifier and programmable. As a programmable stone, one may program any thoughts, feelings, or intentions they wish to have and the stone will resonate to those wishes. Then the crystal will simultaneously amplify those energies. Clear Quartz is also referred to as the stone of light, bringing the energy of light and the stars into the soul. It provides heightened spiritual vibrations and awarenesses. Use this crystal to connect with higher beings, guides, the heavens, other worldly masters/teachers/healers and the higher parts of oneself. As a purification stone, Clear Quartz cleanses, balances, and aligns the physical, mental, and spiritual bodies. It assists in having clarity in all endeavors, making it an excellent stone for healing and prayer work. Clear Quartz teaches us to live, love, laugh, and find harmony in all beings and the planet itself.

Galena is a lead sulphide and is formed in metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. It is extremely heaving, weighing over 700 lbs per cubic foot. When Galena gets buried in soil or when it is exposed to other elements it can easily transform into Cerussite, Pyromorphite, or Anglesite. Galena contains sulphur, an element within the human body that promotes detoxification, encourages the elimination of disease, and serves as the bodies defensive strength. It is an antidote for ridding the body of heavy metals. Galena also contains lead and trace amounts of silver. Lead is known for its ability to transform when exposed to the air and when heated. Lead is a material that shields from radiation and is even used in protection equipment for patients and healthcare workers when performing x-rays. Hospitals provide lead-lined rooms to make radiation treatments accessible and safe. Some of the first radios used Galena as a semiconductor to flow the radio signal in a singular direction. According to researchers at Washington University in St. Louis, there is evidence that the planet Venus has Galena snow falls at high elevations on the planet.
Clear Quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral. This natural compound, silicon (si) and oxygen (O2), are two of the earth’s most abundant materials. About 75% of the earth’s crust is made of silicate minerals. Clear Quartz is formed when the is tension in crevasses or cavities in rocks. Steaming hydrothermal fumes, enriched with minerals, undergo significant heat and pressure that split water into hydrogen and oxygen. The heat and pressure also removes silica from the rock. Then the oxygen combines with silica and forms small seedlings. Over time the seedlings grow in the crevasses and become quartz. Oxygen is an essential for life to exist. Silicon is a key ingredient that impacts our daily lives. It is used in bricks, glass, steel, computers and more. It is also a beneficial element inside plants that promotes proper plant functioning.
The space-age and electronic industries use Clear Quartz crystals extensively. Scientifically, modern computing technologies all derived from Quartz being alive. The first radio used a crystal set. A wire connected to Clear Quartz and the radio frequencies transmitted through the crystals. When combined with other elements, crystals create microchips for computers, transistors, solar cells, rectifiers, watches, and microphones. Quartz crystals are piezoelectric, which means when under pressure or mechanical stress, they create electricity. Quartz is also pyroelectric, which means it generates electricity when heated.
Traditionally, Galena was used as a protection and power stone for those that practiced Shamanic work and magic. Dating back to Ancient Egypt, this stone was applied around the eyes to fight off disease carrying bugs and to reduce the glare of the desert sun. Galena consists of lead, an element alchemists used as a symbol to free themselves from the heavy world. Alchemists worked with chemically transforming lead into different colors, such as exposing heat to lead and making it turn red. Alchemists said that lead was the oldest metal and related to the planet Saturn, which is recognized symbolically as the planet of purpose in life, achievement, and accomplishments. Galena also consists of trace amounts of silver and about 2000 years ago, the Ancient Greeks and Romans discovered how to separate silver from lead and make use of it.
Quartz was recorded dating back to 300-325 BCE. It is named after the Greek word krustallos, meaning permanently solidified ice or ice rock. Clear Quartz has been used across many cultures to promote healing and raising one’s consciousness towards enlightenment. Some of these include: Native American Indians, Egyptians, Mayans, Aztecs, Scots, Celts, Romans, Australian Aborigines, and Japanese. In both North America and Burma, the indigenous cultures treated these crystals as living beings. Similarly, South American and Australian cultures referred to Clear Quartz as the ancestor or parent of life itself, using the term the cosmic serpent. Clear Quartz has been used for religious purposes across many cultures. Ancient priests worked with clear quartz to remove negative energies. Buddhists used it to connect to spirits. Central and South American cultures worshiped Quartz carved skulls and were said to connect them to the the gods and ancestors. Many cultures used Clear Quartz to ward off disease. During the medieval times, people used Clear Quartz to ease fevers and dehydration. Romans used these crystals for pain relief and fever reduction. The Scottish wore it to fight off dis-ease. Both the Scottish and Irish used it to help fight off dis-ease of their cattle. The Japanese associated Clear Quartz with infinite outlooks, purification, and determination.

Note: Sizes and colors may vary, Crystals are not meant to replace or substitute the recommendations or advice of your physician or healthcare provider. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Although Galena contains lead, a toxic element, the lead content is of minor concern and this rock is safe to handle and work with. Do not inhale or ingest, as it may be hazardous to one’s health.
